After more than a year of grounding, flights are slowly resuming as countries ease border restrictions and more people around the world are getting vaccinated.
With the long, hot UAE summer stretching ahead, many people dream of a change of scenery filled with fresh air and a chance to reconnect with nature, visit friends and family, or simply enjoy the luxury of being able to continue vacation.
With an expected long break for the Eid Al Adha holidays and the summer school break fast approaching, travel is on the minds of many UAE citizens and residents.
This week, Spain and France are preparing to welcome tourists again after being closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To coincide with the reopening, Emirates said it would increase its schedule of flights to both destinations as travel demand increases.

The Dubai airline currently flies to Madrid five times a week and offers four weekly flights to Barcelona. It will also begin daily flights to Mexico City via Barcelona from July 2. This will offer travelers eight flights per week to the Catalan capital.
To France, Emirates operates a daily A380 flight to Paris, and more flights are expected to be added soon.
The 19 destinations travelers can go to without quarantine with Emirates

Emirates said it would continue to scale up operations as demand returns and support the start of tourism on its network as more travel lanes open up, benefiting vacationers with quarantine-free travel to the United States. two ends of their journey.
The airline had previously announced that it would resume services to Phuket in Thailand from July 2 and to Miami from July 22.
280 weekly flights to 19 countries
Dubai Airline now operates flights to 30 cities in 19 countries which are open to business and leisure travelers.
With the addition of its new routes in July, Emirates will operate 280 weekly flights from Dubai to destinations in Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Africa. This gives travelers plenty of options to travel this summer without the hassle, cost or stress of quarantine. Some destinations on the list are only open without quarantine for vaccinated travelers, but others are open to all UAE citizens and residents.
Travelers returning to Dubai do not need to self-quarantine, but all travelers continuing to Abu Dhabi must follow the rules surrounding the Green List, unless they are returning via a vaccination corridor.
All Emirates flights will be equipped with an Iata Travel Pass by July
Emirates also plans to expand its Iata Travel Pass capabilities on flights in the coming weeks.
The International Air Transport Association’s digital pass initiative allows travelers to register their personal information, learn about Covid-related testing requirements for their destination, and share Covid-19 test results prior to departure with airlines before the flight.
Emirates passengers will be able to use the app on flights to Barcelona, ââMoscow, Istanbul, New York JFK, Madrid and from London Heathrow this month. The airline also plans to make all Iata Travel Pass flights compatible by July. In the future, it is hoped that the pass will be used to keep immunization records to facilitate travel between countries.
In partnership with the Dubai Health Authority, Emirates is also offering passengers paperless verification of medical records related to Covid-19 when flying out of Dubai.
