“For behold, I bring unto you glad tidings of great joy…” Wait, that’s a Bible verse, isn’t it? Well, anyway, that rings true for a lot of us today.
It’s September 1 already and fall enthusiasts like yourselves are looking forward to a season of cozy sweaters, apple picking, corn mazes, haunted events, spooky movie nights, colorful foliage and, of course, seasonal drinks.
On August 17, Dunkin’ was ahead of the game and announced that its fall drinks, including Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Creamy Cold Infusions, were now available for the season. In their own words, “It’s never too early to start the fun of fall.” We couldn’t agree more.
That said, we know the deep Dunkin’–Starbucks divide between New Englanders. You’re either a die-hard Dunkin’ fan, in which case you’ve probably helped yourself to several pumpkin drinks, or a devoted Starbucks fan who’s still waiting patiently. If you fall into the latter group, we have good news for you.
You can now pick up a Pumpkin Spice Latte or Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew at your local Starbucks. The official company news was released on August 30, and people are already enjoying this delicious drink while it’s here.
This writer has had several pumpkin spice lattes from Dunkin’ and Starbucks before, and both are delicious. You’re missing out if you don’t try them, so be sure to stop by one of these establishments and treat yourself to a pumpkin drink today. You will not regret it.
Here’s to an exciting and fun fall season ahead.
